25th National Day coming up . . . 23rd Feb '09 x)

Salam peeps . . .

I've been busy plus tired since thursday sdh...dgnkan the students having their rehearsal di Stadium. But it was fun though...experience. Dulu i usually ikut as a student but now...as a teacher....terlalu bynk perbezaan.. Heee... Tpi it was a real experience lah in which we were looking after group of students of different level each day....and i actually can learn something from them. This coming monday pun i will be going jua....because i thought i saw my name somewhere....hmmm... Well, always looking forward for another day . . .


This morning, when the students rehearsed their routine . . . i was like amazed ntah lah... how the students dgn penuh bersemangat berlatih.....and they didn't even kisah if it was really a hot day . . . durg tahan jua and then the students were even asked to do their routine one more time .. . Feel bangga lah... BErsemangat patriotik heee... and when all the students from different schools buat the persembahan tema all at once . . .they did it perfectly. Last thursday, the organiser rated them 90% but today their whole performance was 93% . . . woww.... 3% increased . . . that wasn't bad.. So congrats to all the students who participate in the national day rehearsal. So since this year is the 25th National day celebration . . . the event is going to be a big celebration because its the 'Jubli Perak' (Silver Jubilee . . . ) There are such things rite? To mark the 25th anniversary...

Well, thats just about it. Next time lagi gambar. I don't know why lately i have chest pain . . . everytime i breath in and out . . .sakit bnar. I don't have any explanation for that . . . insya Allah esuk lah consult doctor. Actually takut plg, but i have to . . . my mother was really worried. But i think i'll be fine insya Allah! But, what is that chest pain all about??

Supervised . . .

Assalamualaikum . . . x)

Today i was supervised by my cooperating teacher . . . i was really nervous. But since today we had our 'silent reading', so the timings were all shifted. And so i kept on looking at the clock.. "Pukul brapa sudah?" My class started at 8:45am and abis at 9:35am.

I went inside the classroom and i was looking for my C.T. ...nowhere to be found. Phewwhh...at least it gave me time to settle down inside the classroom and calm myself down. Then, while i was checking the students' works . . . my C.T. duduk sudah di belakang. Okay...i just have to think there's just the students and myself in the classroom. No C.T. . . . That was just my CT, balum lagi my supervisor... Waaa...

Tapi my lesson this morning was kinda messy...i have to admit that. Well, i realised that i need to improve on my time management. But it also depends on the students' pace...weaker students need more time to digest. But towards the end, i manage to introduce the new lesson to them and i gave homework...for the first time. Well..from all the comments from my CT tadi...gave me something to think about....and i should make some improvements for my next lesson. Insya Allah...Hope tomorrow i can do revision with them.

I just read one of the articles at iluvislam.com, "Why do we read the Qur'an?" Well the point of the story was to keep reading the Qur'an even if we don't understand...well a good thing is to know the meaning...as it will purify our hearts. By then, segala perkara baik yg kitani hendak kerjakan insyaAllah akan dipermudahkan....insya Allah! x)

Alhamdulilah . . .

Alhamdulilah...i've attended my first class this morning. It was on the last two period and so i have lots of time to think over it. What shud i do? How wud i start? ya..da..ya..da..ya..da..~~ When i went up the stairs to the second floor...my heart beats even faster...nervous breakdown berabiss. Then kuatkan hati...tawakal kpd Allah...Ya Allah permudahkan lah urusan ku~~

I went into the class and the students bagi salam...and then baca doa... Okay..so lets get things started. I went on explaining my presence in their class...and then sesi ta'aruf (introduction session). But honestly...i cudn't remember any of their names...it sounded similar to the other. So i think..i shud make seating chart...at least i cud remember some...alhamdulilah! Few minutes after that, i feel confident and i didn't even realise that it was almost 12.30pm. And so that was the end of my first lesson. Alhamdulilah it went on well...and i hope for a better tomorrow..insya Allah! DOakan ah~~~...

I'm still doing 'Simultaneous Equations' tomorrow...but using the graphical method of solving the equations. How can i make the lesson more interesting?? I keep on thinking... This morning i gave the students activities to do in groups. It went on well though...but there's always something that we can improve so to make our lesson better.

Like my fren said to me yesterday...

"Ikhlaskan niat mengajar kerana Allah, insya Allah akan dipermudahkan Nya...."

I'll always keep that in mind...

Salam . . .

I've started my Teaching Practice (TP) last monday. For the first week kmi buat observation saja. Then start from the 2nd week up til May nanti...we'll be teaching. I'm kind of nervous actually....tpi at the same time really looking forward kn ngajar jua..heee..

I'm teaching Form 4 maths as well as physics...tpi there are some clashes. Nda jua dpt ngajar tu... I'm currently working on the student's notes and the lesson plan. At first, it was really hard lah for me...banyak kraja and all. Its very challenging...I salute all the teachers! *salute*

This Monday insya Allah i'll be teaching maths form 4 on 'Simultaneous Equations' and looking for some activities which i cud do with the students. Tapi most of the games are interactive games.. Adakah yg dpat buat in the classroom itself?? I really want to maximise the students engagement in my class nanti....i cud think of few activities...but still thinking whether it suits them or not.

Well, i've got to have plans with me...just in case plan A doesn't work...i'll always have my plan B.. Hehhe.. Best of Luck for me!
